Living in the Fullness of the Spirit

After finishing a corporate prayer session, I felt the need to linger in God’s presence, seeking personal time with the Lord. I was caught between sleep and prayer—my body weary, yet my spirit pressing on in fervent intercession. Somewhere in that moment, I drifted off, only to wake suddenly with a clear, undeniable instruction: Read Romans 8.

I’ve read this passage countless times, often drawing strength from various verses. Yet today felt different. It was as if the Holy Spirit was reminding me—not just of who I am, but of what I carry. So I read it again and again, letting its truth settle in my spirit.

To walk this journey of faith fully and faithfully, I must grasp the reality that I am far more powerful than I’ve imagined—not in arrogance, but in humility before God. Romans 8 reminds me that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells within me (verse 11). Pause and let that truth sink in. The weight of it. The magnitude.

And here’s the identity the enemy fears we will discover: the moment you recognize the power of the Holy Spirit within you, the enemy knows he is in trouble.

My desire should be to yield completely to the Holy Spirit, to be led by Him. For it is His guidance that enables me to please God. I am no longer ruled by my flesh. I am free. And so are you.

Beloved, take the time to immerse yourself in this chapter. Even if you’ve read it before, let it speak to you anew. You are stronger than you realize—more powerful than you know—if only you will surrender completely to the Spirit’s leading. Step aside, let Him work, and watch Him turn you into a wonder.

Shalom 🙏🏼
